Charles Witt is her older brother, and Walter Witt is her younger sister. Witt might also be linked with George Washington. Her family's lineage is derived from George Washington, and she is also a member of National Society of Washington Family Descendedants. Witt currently lives with Bill Sorensen who is a television producer. Caroline Sorensen is the couple's daughter.
