Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a popular American performer and actress. Her parents were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Bell was raised and from Huntington Woods Michigan. Her birthplace was in Michigan's Huntington Woods with an Polish mother and a father who is German, English Irish, Scottish and Irish. Kristen's talent for entertainment was found at a young age. In 1992 she won her first part in an audition for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell's mother established her with an agent when she was thirteen, and she got her first role in newspaper advertisements and television commercials. She is now also taking individual acting classes. Bell was on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998, as an uncredited actress. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the drama and music club. Bell was cast as Dorothy in the high-school production of The Wizard of Oz. Following graduation, Bell made the move into New York City to attend the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts, where she learned about musical theatre. Bell left the school in 2001 and assumed the role of Becky the character of Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credit in Pootie Tang during 2001. Her scene, however, was trimmed and now Bell's only role is the final credits. Bell was seen together with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
