Christina Haack, born on 7 July 1983 in Anaheim California. Her career began in real estate after graduating from school. Tarek El-Moussa, her future husband, met in this business. After the 2008 crash of the stock market, many investors in real estate and homeowners lost their funds. Tarek El Moussa, Christina El Moussa, and Tarek El Moussa, lost the majority of their assets as a result of the 2008 stock market collapse. Their apartment was $700 per week, compared to the $6,000 that they were spending per month on their house. The economy and their business as a whole slowly recovered. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011 asked a friend to aid him in making an HGTV tape showing Christina as well as him flipping the house from start to the end. The tape ended up in the hands of executives at the production company Pie Town Productions. The execs were infatuated with Christina's story of love between Tarek and Christina. They reached a deal with HGTV. In April 2013, "Flip of Flop" was launched. The show aired 92 seasons between 2013 between 2013 and 2017. In the show, Christina and Tarek would acquire properties, which are typically mid-income homes located in Orange County, and would then proceed to spend several months making improvements so that they could flip the property for a profit.
